LoveSicily began as a cookery school in my grandparents’ home in Modica — a place where I shared the flavours, stories, and traditions of Sicilian cuisine with travellers from around the world.

After two decades, LoveSicily continues as a space for inspiration and discovery, with fewer selected cooking classes per year. Here, I continue to share recipes, stories, and glimpses of everyday life in Sicily, a celebration of its ingredients, culture, and timeless rhythm.

My work has evolved into Zagara Blu, a creative project that transforms the Mediterranean’s shared heritage into designs that connect people to its warmth and vibrant soul. In collaboration with my daughter Sofia, an illustrator who shares my deep connection to the Mediterranean’s lifestyle and soul, we create unique designs that capture its art, colors and timeless beauty. Through Zagara Blu, we celebrate the warmth and beauty of Mare Nostrum — “Our Sea”.
