Going to the centre of town by car takes around 40 min depending on the traffic. From the airport, follow highway A29 towards Trapani-Palermo and exit at Palermo Centro. By taxi

Going to the centre of town by car takes around 40 min depending on the traffic. The airport's taxi service is in operation from 06.00 to 24.00 and the taxi rank is outside the Arrivals Area of the airport. A ride costs around €30-40, including a supplement for the airport pickup service €7.75, the extra €0.26 for each luggage, the night run additional €1.55 and the €1.29 holiday supplement. By train

The Trinacria Express connects Palermo directly to the terminal every hour, from 05:40 to 23:40. The journey takes about one hour and there are intermediate stops on the way. By bus

From the Airport to Palermo, there is a connection every 30 min, from 06:30 am to midnight. From Palermo to the airport every 30 min ( except at 22.30), from 5:00 am to 23.00. To Piazza Ruggero Settimo (Politeama Theatre) –the ride takes approx. 40 min, to the central station it takes approx 55 min. Tickets can be purchased on board and cost €5.30.
