It is always a pleasure for us when we receive news and pictures from the “students” of the loveSicily cookery programme. It is nice to hear about those who have organised Sicilian dinner parties for their friends or experimented with their own version of the recipes. This year, we have heard back from Barbara who prepared a Sicilian family lunch for her dad’s birthday, Anthony who organised a Sicilian dinner party for all his friends and July who has managed to involve her children in the preparation of scacci and arancine reporting a great success.

Among our guests this year there was also journalist Wendy Sweetser who wrote a very nice piece on her experience with us on the September issue of Sainsbury’s Magazine. She reviewed three Italian Cookery Holidays, one in Rome, one in Veneto and the loveSicily one in Sicily. We want to thank her so much for the accurate report and lovely words she reserved to all of us and to the South-East of Sicily in particular.
