La Corte del Sole - Hotel by the Vendicari Oasis
Introduction
A typical 19th century Sicilian farmhouse, which has been wonderfully renovated using the white stone of Noto, original Sicilian brickwork, sandstones from Siracusa and old terracotta tiles. It is located on top of a hill by the sea overlooking the Nature Reserve of Vendicari, a true heaven and shelter for birds migrating between Africa and Europe as well as fish and other animals, including sea turtles. The nearest entrance to Vendicari and its unspoilt beaches is just a couple of minutes away by car (or 15 minutes walk) and the hotel also offers transfers to the Lido di Noto beach where you also find restaurants and other services.

Noto's seaside countryside, just 7km from Noto, 33km from Siracusa and 1km from the sea.

Rooms & Facilities
Each room is furnished in a different style, some have wooden beams, others Caltagirone's ceramic or traditional wrought iron decorations. The superior rooms also have four-posters beds and are characterised by a different colour scheme. Some of them also offer a view of the sea and the nature reserve. All the rooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning system, bathrooms with shower, hair-dryer, telephone, bar, television, pay TV and safe box.
Breakfast is served in the old mill which has been carefully restored and turned into a nice bar that can be used also as a reading or meeting room or in the terrace overlooking the seaside and the nature reserve. The restaurant as well has a wonderful veranda overlooking the reserve and offers traditional Sicilian dishes. The menu is updated every season. The hotel has a swimming-pool and offers the guests the possibility of using their bicycles to explore the reserve.
