Introduction
This old Sicilian farm house is located in the middle of a wood on a hill overlooking the countryside and the coast. Elegantly restored, it offers a relaxing atmosphere in a wonderful natural environment. Particular attention has been placed on food, a perfect combination of the farm top quality produce and the international experience of the owner, who is also the chef.
Location
The estate is in the heart of a 2000 hectares wood, 25 Km away from Caltagirone and 18 Km away from Piazza Armerina.
Vecchia Masseria - Piazza Armerina Agriturismo, is about 25km from the sea and 100km from the airport of Catania.
Rooms & Facilities
All rooms are en-suite with TV and air conditioning. Some rooms also have a kitchenette.
There are a swimming pool and a hydro-massage tub with amazing views of the countryside and the coastline.
The owner of the farm is a Chef, who decided to come back to Sicily after many years experience abroad. He puts a lot of care in the selection of the finest ingredients for his all Sicilian menus and the products and preserve available from the farm’s shop.
It is possible to organise horse riding, Quad or helicopter excursions of the surrounding area.
